Financial donations to Mrs. Dorsey's Clothes Closet support our facility expenses and purchase of needed items for the people that we serve.

Item Donations

Our Greatest Needs this Month:

• Non-perishable food items (cereal, canned foods, pasta, etc.)
• Personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.)
• Baby diapers, any size
• Girls underwear, any size
• Men's white athletic crew socks
• Men's underwear, S-L
• Men's small pants and jeans, sizes 28-34 waist
• Women's small pants and jeans, sizes 0-6
• Children's clothing, baby through size 18

Items Accepted on an On-Going Basis (new or gently used):

• Adult, kids and infant clothing
• Socks, shoes and underwear
• School supplies and backpacks
• Towels, blankets, sheets, comforters, curtains, etc.
• Kitchen goods such as plates, glasses, utensils, cookware
• Home decor
• Games and books
• Small working electronics/home appliances such as hairdryers, blenders, coffee makers

Unfortunately, we don’t have room for large items such as furniture, large appliances or electronics.

Volunteer

We are always in need of extra hands to sort, hang, and organize clothes, and help clients "shop." If you or your organization are interested in volunteering at the clothes closet, please contact us by filling out the contact form or giving us a call.
